State & Strategic Partnerships with Discovery Education

Discovery Education has long stood beside the nation’s rural educators.  Each day, through their digital solutions, professional learning, and consultative partnership, they are helping teachers in rural communities across the country bring the world into their classrooms to support the success of all learners.

In 2021, the New Hampshire Department of Education selected Discovery Education’s award-winning learning platform to support all New Hampshire learning environments with high quality instructional material. We now have virtually every school district in the state engaged in this win-win initiative and nearly 1 million interactions have occurred to help unlock potential and engage students in their learning. These resources, at no cost to students or educators, are facilitating modern learning experiences and providing children with access to innovative resources that are motivating them to excel.

Discovery Education has been an exceptionally flexible and supportive partner to work with and our educators genuinely enjoy working with the DE team. This partnership has allowed us to provide students, educators, and families with resources that extend learning beyond the walls of the classroom. Discovery Education resources expand horizons, facilitate meaningful conversations, and help ensure our future workforce possesses the necessary academic skills. Students are able to see the connection and relevance between academic and technical learning and the role these skill sets play in the workplace.

Our partnership with Discovery Education is excellent—the team is always willing to help or change direction when necessary. The biggest impact we've seen has been access to quality science resources for our schools, especially those without labs. And, the content connects to our College and CAREER readiness standards to help support our workforce readiness.
